Anybody ride BMX in the '80's? **pics**

Yeah I know this is a 3 wheeler forum but I figured many of us who were riding atc's in the 70's and '80's probably also played around on a bmx bike. Just thought I would mix it up and see what some of you guys still might have in the garage next to that old 200X Posted is an '81 Hutch Pro racer, '82 SE Racing P.K. Ripper, '85 JMC "Darrell Young", and a '90 SE Racing Floval Flyer (24in. Cruiser)

I had a P.K Ripper for years... After the frame cracked twice, I replaced it with a Free Agent XL(limo)....

I have these 2 sitting out in my shed...the blue one I *think* is a Huffy, and the brown one is a Mongoose, but I dont know what model either of them really is.

I spent lots of hours on BMX's back in the day.A little vert ramp and Flatland freestyle, mostly just jumping the biggest jumps I could.

I had 2 1984 Mongoose Californians, the ones with the rims strips you could flip around for different colors, and I think that movie RAD was all about those bikes.

I had a GT for Freestyle, with Gyro,Paragrine Mags.Oh man those were the days.

Dont have any bikes left though,I wish I would have kept one just for nostalgia.
Here is where my long useless list of stuff nobody cares about should go...

I was too old even then but my son raced. We still have his trophy's. I take my grandkids over to the track to ride, but they don't race there anymore.

I didn't get into BMX racing but I was deep into freestyle. No ramps, just flatland. I won some trophies at a few events and still have them buried in my storage shed somewhere. I should get them out and shine them back up. lol I don't have any bikes left though. I used to have a Dyno, then I got a GT Pro Freestyle tour, then I moved on to my favorite bike and that was a Diamond Back Strike Zone. Very light and just awesome.

I raced Nbl for a few years in the early-mid 90's... raced a schwinn predator mostly but rode quite a few different bikes.

I never raced or rode in the 80's, but my BMX bike for the years 2000 to 2007 was a GT/Dyno Air... don't know the year, but it was a bulletproof tank, heavier than a sack of cement but I did so many drops to flat and ruined so many rims on it, and the frame never had a problem. I was the 4th owner, I think.

It was olive green and the stickers (what was left of them) were purple, if that helps anyone.
