    Yamaha 200E carb?

    hey everyone
i just bought a yamaha 200E for 200 bucks.. its in pretty good shape none of the plastic is broke...i reappulstered the seat, and scraped the plastice clean n got it looking pretty good. but the only thing is the carb floods. i cleaned the carb multiple times and adjusted the float a bunch of times. but it allways floods out cuz the neadle and seat dont seal. it will run good if i shut the gas off whenever i am done riding it and it will idle for a few minutes then flood out. so i was wondering if instead of rebuilding the carb if i could just buy a brand new one that would bolt right on(maby a little bigger for more performance ) the carb that is on it is a mikuni vm22sh

Soak the float in a jar of glass for an hour or so and see if it starts to sink. If not just get a new float needle or a carb kit. If the float does sink get a new float.
The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person who is doing it.
