Pics from Silverlake September 20 & 21 ride

OK, here we go... Ross and I met up with Curt on Saturday morning for some riding before the crazy guys got there... it was a beautiful weekend...

Ross has troubles with one of his R's before we even made it in the gate... good thing he brought 2!

    Ross workin' on getting riding....

    Curt (ITRIKE)

I rode so fast I ripped the weld right out of my grab bar... can you believe the power that little blaster can make!!

My new grab bar... I lost the weld on that one the next day and the flag to boot (See it had to be the speed!)

As with any Silverlake trip, there is always fun things to look at

The only "accident" we had the first day (besides the grab bar) was Curt landing on Ross... nothing but a bit of rubber added to Ross's shock... whew!

Sometime bumper stickers are so true!

We met up with Matt, Ed and Jeff Sat Night, then Wide Open Sean and his friends found us at breakfast on Sunday. Sadly there are no pictures of the slick track races since we were all in the cars...

Trying to set up for some photo opps...

It didn't really work out in this spot, but two shots turned out.

    This spot was way better

Matt made me do it.. and I swear I thought I was 50' off the ground.. I decided jumping is just not my thing...

I'll let Curt tell you how he landed on Ross, I wasn't over the hill yet, but as for the flag mounts, I'm sticking with the story that I was riding so fast on my blaster it just ripped them right off... (honestly though... we have no idea, I think the poor little thing was vibrating so hard to try and keep up, the welds just let go )

I also stand by the story that the test hill was as high and as steep as it was in June, when I couldn't make it over... and the reason I did this time is that I am a WAYYYY better rider now!!!

GREAT PICS !!! Roger as far as those paddles go why must you rub salt in a wound I didn't really land on Ross but close, Going up one of those steep short dunes , Ross was drifting a little to the right , And I wasn't drifting as mutch, cought a little air over the top my left rear wheel cought Ross's right fork leg. May be Ross will elaborate a little on this.
Shannon that is a awsome pic of wide open catching some air by the dead wood. In fact all youre pics look great!!!!!!
Like always I had a great time riding with you all!! Wish a few more could have made it.

I wish I could have gone, but I was working on cleaning up flood damage. I'm in for sure next time!

I'll bring my strongest flag mount.
