Your stock bolt pattern is 4 on 130, the EX hubs are 4 on 110 so your stock wheels won't work. The EX hubs are a nice swap since they make the bike 2" wider.

If your 82 is like my 81 one the rims are a two piece 6 hole pattern. Three wholes hold the rims together while the other three are used to bolt the rim to the hub. I guess I could be wrong but I always thought 82 and 81 had the same rim setup.

    Hi Andrew,the 81 has 3 lug's but the 82 has 4.
I guess Honda beefed it up in 82 with the new brakes ect..

Cool, I didn't know that. So are the rims still a two piece design then?

83-85 hubs have no offset but will work on your axle. Here's a link that should help.
