    86 250R spark problems

    Hope you guys have some input on this. I can turn the bike over by hand really really fast,hard and get light spark but when I kick it over at normal speed there is no spark at all. I have tried cleaning all connections,tried another stator, another coil and still the same no matter what. Anyone have this problem before? My on/off switch seems to be working ok. Thanks

    weak spark

    you most have a weak spark, most probably caused by

    weak cdi pulse generator and/or weak igniton coil. or maybe the spark plug gap is wrong. check also wiring connection.

    thats about all it would be.

    CDI is the last culprit (and usually the one to go first) to check. I got one on e-bay for 10 bucks, that was my problem as well.
