Is a '87 KTM 250 motor similar to the motors in the tigers, or are they completely different? I know the Tiger 80 was a KTM. Wasnt sure about the larger ones.

Different. Some of the early KTM engines were made by Rotax. The only similar thing is they both kick on the left.

I was just curious. I found a '87 KTM motorcycle for sale. Engine runs good from what the owner said. I dont want to buy, but might be good for someone on the site.
