    decompression cable on YTM200

    I found a decompression cable loose zip tied to my frame. where is it supposed to run to? is there a handlebar mount or something so i can reconnect it? thanks

    No it goes to the cylinder head, (there's a lever that pushes on the exhaust valve). The other end of the cable goes to the back side of the recoil starter. There is a mechanism in the recoil that pulls the cable when you start it. Often times they wear out and don't work like they should. You don't really need it but it helps.

    oooo ok now all i have it a cylinder-like fitting on the end like a throttle cable is that all i should have or am i missing pieces?

    That's all you should have up by the cylinder head I believe. Look at the valve cover for the exhaust side, there should be an arm that the cable end fits into.
