    Need clutch help w/ 250R

    My Nephew has a 85 250R and his clutch will not totally engage after pulling in on clutch perch. Lifter lever hangs up about half way back , I have used W-D 40 on cable and it helped a little but the lifter lever on the trans. still needs to go back a little futher . It will go back all the way But I have to push it back with my hand. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    better check it out. that arm will wear out on bottom. if you have problem with ball and cup on one end it will rotate rod and cause wear on arm. better check it out. sounds like you need 89 update kit.
