    200x Engine Pop

Tried a search and it's down? Any-way here's my question:
Reassembled my engine and when kicking it over it just pops out the exhaust? I's the timing somehow off? I put the dot and scribe mark on the flywheel in the correct positions, but maybe the cam is 180* out? Any ideas?

There should be a T mark on the flywheel to line up with the notch in the plug. Your valves should be closed a TDC.
The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person who is doing it.

If it's an 85 or under then it's easy to set the cam 180 out....

Tried the cam 180 but didn't work. I'll check the timing again but I thought it was right on.

my original 200x would run with the timing 10 degrees advanced or so...so I'm thinking it's a few degrees retarded.

Does anyone have a pic of their stator plate? I'll move it back 180* (where it should be) but I have no clue where to adjust the plate.
