i passed up a decent lil 6 point and a few doe but the season is young i know ther eare a couple nice slammer 10 and 12 pointers runnign around i think i am gonna hold out for one of them.

At least you saw deer, I saw a coyote after i scared him up on the way to my stand, and about 25 turkeys. My highlight was a gray fox that walked within about ten feet of me and didnt even notice me. I hunt from the ground so I guess that says alot for camo and cover scents. Oh well good luck to all.

ny got pushed back a week this year, only 28 days of archery rather than 35 due to some revolving schedule balogna. usually it's only a week before that pa opens. I hunt in CT and they open early september, but that $100 out of state fee wasn't happening this year.

Saw a huge nine pointer couldnt get a shot he was a little to far away and I didnt want to take a hail mary shot. Oh well season is young still and its off to work for me.
