250R Front Forks and Exhaust Flanges?

Hey guys, you know that corrosion kinda stuff that gets on the chrome of the front forks? do you know how to get that stuff off? and another thing, there's black exhaust gunk squirting out around the front of the motor, around the flange, what should i do to stop it?

Steel wool takes alot of that off the forks. If it's into the chrome then I'm not sure. It also sounds like you need a new exhaust flange or maybe just a new gasket ring. Also check your springs.

yea what seadoo said, plus i use high heat silicone on the flange too, the copper stuff works best.

Get a billet O-ring exhaust flange and never worry about exhaust gunk again.
