Big Red rims

do they still make stock rims for my 85 big red

and if not what is the best thing to paint them with

they have some surface rust on them

I don't know if you can get OEM rims from Honda but there are always some on ebay. I have sandblasted them and then use an etching primer and find gray paint that is close to the orginal color and spray paint them. If rust isn't too bad sand them.

Well you can get other wheels to work with the big red from a good deal of quads out there. But if you are looking for the stock look, then that might be harder. I took a really bad set of wheels that were rusted up, and with a wire wheel, sander and a wire brush, I had all the rust removed. Then I painted mine with the wheel paint from the local auto stores and they turned out great.
