I'm headed to Colorado (from Miss.) next week for a elk hunt. We are taking my brothers '95 Honda Rancher 350. He was told he'd need to change the main jet because of altitude. I need some input here on how to identify which jet is main and if that's necessary to swap any jet. Thanks for any help here !

I think I'd talk to the Honda dealer before I changed anything. I have a Rancher 350 and I have not any any carb issues here in Idaho. But we are only between 3000 and 6000 ft. where we ride. I'm not sure where the factory settings are.
