Went to change the main jet on mine - must of have a faulty jet cause I went to put in a 158 main and it broke off in there before I even had it tight. Was able to get the lil piece of thread out and was forced to go with a 155. Luckily the 155 didn't break off. LOL.
Also slathered the frame and under carriage with WD-40.
Yesterday I took my 225dx seat to the upholstery shop to put a new cover on it. I thought it would be nice to have a red seat be the guy told me it would be $25 more to order the fabrics. So I went with a black cover. Also bought a new shift shaft oil seal at the bearing shop. Cost me $5.08
Today I painted my homemade grab bar red.

It was a warm 50 degrees today. Got the power washer out to start cleaning the engine off my 200. I couldn't get that brake cable off, for fear of cracking the housing, any trick to that?
let it sit in the garage up north (cottage).
My toy:
Ripped half my 350x apart to fix some existing problems.

I installed my freshly painted engine in my project Z. Just waiting on some parts from Sprock so I can get it running soon. I'm finally feeling like I'm getting somewhere.
redneck250es and I went for a woods ride on some trails near his place. Man what an awesome time, I'd say it was the best wheeler ride we've had in a couple years, but it was hard going and we were soaked through to the bone when we got back. There was some mudholes that when we got off to push it was over our knees and I think we were the for at least 45 minutes getting both Reds unstuck. These holes were passible a few weeks ago but now there is over a foot of snow down in the woods and with ice breaking up it made for an interesting trip. Wish we had some pics avail. Maybe next time.
There a reason the big red is the best woods bike / mud bogger, cause you can get a good red down
stripped out every wire and cleaned em' up and re-routed them a bit.
There was about a roll of electrical tape there. The ground to the coil was rusty so I cleaned that up - traced back the wires for my head and tail lights etc etc.
While I was at it I cleaned my chain and blasted it with PJ1 - then slathered the trike full of WD-40.
I pulled the 110 motor apart, down to the bare cases. I then ordered some parts for it from DR ATV.. Maybe next weekend I can put it back together with a top end rebuild, new clutch, and fully cleaned/inspected lower end.
