Just got back from a weekend ride on the Hatfield McCoy Trails. Three of us rode the Little Coal River section and covered about 60 miles. Some sections were very muddy but the weather was beautiful. I wasn't sure about keeping the Kenda Bear Claws on the 250R that I recently picked up, but they were exactly the right tire for the wide range of conditions faced on this ride. Not one mechanical issue the whole trip. I was the only trike and I didn't see another one all weekend. Yamaha had a demo ride set up at the trail head and we got to try several of their new quads out on the trails. Overall, a great trip.

hope you taught those quads a lesson

I pulled the old 110 out today. I was prepping it for a little scouting mission I'm going on tomorrow. Fired 'er up, took 'er for a spin, then found a fuel leak around the seam of the float bowl. I pulled the carb off to fix it and in the process I figured out the carb spacer between the carb and intake was on upside-down. Oops! I've always had an issue with trying to git 'er to idle right, just figured it was the Supertrapp and maybe the jetting being a little off. So I put it back together right this time, put some nice synthetic 15w40 Torco in 'er and she's all better!![]()

I bought a blem asv clutch lever and mount for cheap from asvinventions on ebay for my tecate. The mount fits the stock perch, but the lever won't. However I am in the middle of remedying that with an air grinder.. We'll see how it works out. Turns out it works really well. The asv clutch lever feels awesome. It fits your hand perfectly. I lost the bid at $10.50 for the F3 brake lever in blue.

RIP Trace.. Godspeed.
Work on the cagiva today as I have a 2 week deadline starting 6/1/09 to get it a roller (Raffa). This one is a tough one.... much more work than I thought and I NOW remember why it was moved to the back of the shop and I did "other" things. When I bought it it was in mostly in pieces. The seller also collected ALL kinds of cagiva mx parts and I got them handed to me in boxes as well. Like putting together a puzzle I never took apart in the first place. But Raffa i'm on my way!!!!!!

Wikipedia "All Terrain Vehicle" Definition excerpt
Other smaller or lesser known companies, such as Tiger ATV, Franks, and Cagiva, produced racing three wheelers, but in much smaller numbers. Few of these machines are known to exist today and are highly sought by collectors.
