Well, I finally got around to getting the M put back together. Freshly painted forks, tank and decals and Maeir front fender. Still waiting on some rear fenders. Here's how it looked when I got it a few months ago and how it sits today.

Dropped my cylinders off to get mic'ed/check the end gap. My quad cylinder looks horrible, found it in a parts bin I had. Then I spent 30 minutes on eBay and EVERY over-sized piston is 12:1!!!! Nothing is less, what the hell???
Tightend up the tree, swaped out the champion spark plug for a ngk, and tried to get the spark arrestor off but it seams to be rusted solid.
Next up will be a oil change - rotor cleaning and tighten the drive chain up some.
I proved my friends wrong about my 26 year old machine, and fired it up first kick.![]()

Shined up my T3's exhaust, pulled the X and 110 out and got a group photo. Then went out and raced my X around for some circuits. Going to have to repair my 110's seat latch, it broke

put brand new lugnuts on it a couple days ago. take em off today to put valve stems in the wheels, the new lug nuts strip and or shear EVERY SINGLE STUD.
Took the new hub for my almost ready YTM200ER, put it on only to discover the dude killed the axleing it out. Jerk! So off to the machinist, then home for it's first real ride after Assembly. It was rolled (not by me), killed the front hub and axle. Had a 22" from a YTM200 chain on the front with a made to fit hub. Bad stuff, no front breaks, scary. One quick ride and then apart for repairs she came. Report on the first real ride later today. I hope.
Edit: no ride today, must wait till tomorrow to get my axle back.

85 Honda 200x, rider build almost complete, need aftermarket rear shock.
85 Honda 250es, with some work to do.
Brought my 82 R home to strip down and start working on it, finally.
Put knobbies back on the 350X, drained the fuel, attached the rear garnish.
Exchanged the black footpegs for the chrome ones on the Keeper 200X
Loaded them all in the trailer for a trip to the desert this weekend. Beautiful weather in the 70's with a little wind though.
Picked up a 350X frame from the welder yesterday, ready for another build.
Getting a helicoil kit so the XR500 motor can be finished and put in Nick frame.
Have '85 350X-XR500 Hybrid,
Had Nicholson framed: 90/110, 185s, Gen I 500, Gen II 500
Had Bandito Framed 90
Have Vey's Framed 90
Have too many parts
i tried out a new trail. I managed to bend my shifter around my foot peg. Then going down a hill a stick jammed between the shifter and peg putting the bike in neutral. I have no breaks and it was a very steep hill. So now i need a new shifter and will be putting breaks on this weekend.
