    200x Progress Pic's!

Here she is everyone. The weekends progress. I went home from college for the weekend and put my parts on the 200x project. This weekend I put new bars, front brake res. guard, new clutch lever, headlight, and the rear fenders on.

My 200x project is coming along nicely. I'm going to put a Maier 1985-86 250r front fender on the front. That does fit on the 85 200x right? Then it will be on to motor work. I have to make a billet case saver here at school, a rear grab bar, and a new head pipe.

What does everyone think, Blue shock boots and a blue seat cover with 200X on the sides and a gripper top from Ms. Mosh?

Hahaha the trail pros lol. They are gone as soon as I get the rest of the frame/body done. They came with the bike so I left them on for roller tires, I'm leaning on 18" tires but can't make a decision between 18" or 20's.

    Thanks for the comments guys.

I have an 85 sitting on 18s...and if you do any riding where you might hit stumps, rocksand so on, just go with 20s.

Thanks man. Where we ride is mostly gravel/sandy/dirt trails but there are rocks that are in the middle of the trail. I know I've hit them with my ytm-200. I will probably do 20's and live with it.

Is it true the 85-86 250r fender will fit on the 85x?

Thanks so much Dan. I can't wait to get back home in 3 weekends. Buddy should have the tank done now that I gave him the decals. The 250r fender looks better and it's even cheaper. What a deal. lol

Will do on the 20's, should hit a lot less rocks that way. They look good too.

Now I have to get to the shop here at school and finish my billet aluminum case saver along with the billet grab bar.
