    Montgomery Wards Trike

I have an early to mid 1970's Montgomery Wards trike. It has independent rear suspension with Boge shocks . Has anyone ever seen one of these? I would like to get a manual and some specs. to assist me in my restoration. Some old ads or pics would be great. Thanks.

    hello
ive seen a couple of these i even have some photos on a cd some where i will dig out for you. i have even seen them with a one cylinder snow machine motor.
it look as if that is what those mounting hole are at the very back of the trike. look at the length between the driven pulley to where the driver will go on those back mounts. a 299 rotax should fit and make it fly.

No offense to anyone who has one and keep in mind this is just my opinion. I do no like those at all. Looks like a go cart with a missing front wheel.

Thanks for the replies. Recently found this one on Craigslist and decided to buy it, and just use to putt around. I had one just like it back in 1976. That one had a 20 hp. Kohler single. A snowmobile motor, no doubt. It appeared to be the original motor, and it was wicked fast. Never had any trouble staying upright with the low center of gravity and IRS. Will post pics once I get it restored.
