I'm gunna state the obvious and I'm sure you have tried it all ready - but- have you tried heating the one you have so that it will 'stretch' over the carb?

find another one, rather than boiling it, use a hit gun and slowly stretch it out.

I've stretched a 32mm 350x one all the way out to 42mm with no ill effects...slow and steady.

yep...it helps if you have an old coke bottle or something to wallow it out...stretching it by hand will end up with one burnt hand.

as long as you go really slowly, there should be enough rubber on it to stretch.

let someone with a 2nd gen 250r come in here to clarify if I'm totally off base.
