I've probably got another $300 in it since buying it for $300, but it kicks over on the 2nd kick now. It's got some hesitation at full throttle, but I've only ridden it about a mile total. I'll get it out to a local MX park for a full test ride this weekend.
I've got a '78 Land Cruiser FJ40 and there's a big gathering at Pismo in Nov. That was my main motivation. I had a buddy who had a couple of ATC 110s in high school. I loved riding with him. After HS, he got a 200x. Whoa. I've wanted one ever since. He later got a 350x. I don't even want to go into that now.![]()
If we ride this as much as I expect, I'll replace the rear fenders at some time in the future. No other major plans for now. It's a bummer I don't live somewhere where I can just ride it out the driveway. There's Metcalf Rd. OHV nearby that's small, and Hollister Hills OHV a bit further away, but bigger, and Pismo, the ATC mecca about 2.5 hours down the freeway.
Maybe my son will get into it so I can hand-me-down the 200x and find a nice 350x for daddio.
