    Here's my junk: '85 200x, $300

    Since I bought it:

    Oil change
    Drained fuel
De-rusted gas tank by shaking around some clean pea gravel
Unfroze and greased throttle lever and cable
    Rear brake bleed
    E-brake adjust
Some bending on the e-brake latch on the clutch handle
One new seat mount rubber from dealer
One new motor mount nut from dealer
    New air cleaner from dealer
    Carb rebuild kit from ebay
    New clutch cable from ebay
    Used foot pegs from ebay
    New tail light from ebay
    Used kill/light switch from ebay
Trimmed off a bunch of really cracked plastic off the fenders
Stitched and epoxied a few cracks in the front and remaining rear plastic
    New headlight bulb from Kragen
Stripped out one rusted screw from side of headlight
Broke off tap in headlight mount
Cut off welded nut from front headlight mount
JB Welded a new nut on front headlight mount
2 new screws for front headlight
Broke all four screws in the front brake reservoir
Put my thumb through the front brake reservoir
Hammered the front brake reservoir off the remaining rusted screws
Got two screws out with vice grips
Drilled out and retapped two reservoir screws
    Repainted front brake reservoir cage
ITP Hole Shot rear tires from craigslist (not installed yet)
    New grips from craigslist
    New pink helmet from craigslist
New front brake reservoir from dealer (tomorrow)
    Bleed front brake (tomorrow)
CA Green Sticker Registration (later this week)

I've probably got another $300 in it since buying it for $300, but it kicks over on the 2nd kick now. It's got some hesitation at full throttle, but I've only ridden it about a mile total. I'll get it out to a local MX park for a full test ride this weekend.

I've got a '78 Land Cruiser FJ40 and there's a big gathering at Pismo in Nov. That was my main motivation. I had a buddy who had a couple of ATC 110s in high school. I loved riding with him. After HS, he got a 200x. Whoa. I've wanted one ever since. He later got a 350x. I don't even want to go into that now.

If we ride this as much as I expect, I'll replace the rear fenders at some time in the future. No other major plans for now. It's a bummer I don't live somewhere where I can just ride it out the driveway. There's Metcalf Rd. OHV nearby that's small, and Hollister Hills OHV a bit further away, but bigger, and Pismo, the ATC mecca about 2.5 hours down the freeway.

Maybe my son will get into it so I can hand-me-down the 200x and find a nice 350x for daddio.

Nice work I recently picked up a 200x for 300 bones as well. I haven't done anything to it yet but will post pics when I do.
