I'm building another 300r. This one I want low to mid range grunt. Any opinions reguarding these 2 reed systems?

I've had Boyeson Carbon Fiber reeds in a stock cage and the vForce3 reed system on my 86R and the VF3 is better in every aspect. I'll never run another reed setup in a 2 stroke.

Boyseens are good, but V-force are much better from what I have seen, but they also cost more.

I was doin some diggin around looking for info on reeds. The V Force II reeds are the way to go for mid to low range. They use 12 petal 3 cage design instead of the 8 petal design. This allows the reeds to open sooner. V II's are no longer available, so I called the factory and am having them made up for me. YES! BTW The pipe, porting, and jetting plays a role in determing your reed type. The V II's should be best for trail riding or tight tracks.
