i been reading a couple of threads on hear about the 87 rear end being diffrent than the 85, taller gears?, anyway i have a 86 does anybody know if which one the 86 has the 85 style or 87? or is it diffrent all together? i know they change swing arm setup's, does anybody know the ratio's?

All 3 year SX's have the same gears. 86/87 has a better more waterproof setup over the 85. The 250 ES differential is where you lose top end speed - it's silver in stock color.
