    atc 70 tanks?

    i have a 78 atc 70 and i put a newer tank on in and the forks hit the tank is there something in the front end i missed bike bandit shows a diffrent part number for the years but i cant see a diffrence. i should add someone had a 4 wheeler front end on it when i got it so i dont know if the frame has been cut i do know its not bent thanks doug

    Could your frame and or forks be bent back a touch??

    the forks are a little loose but the only thing i can think of is i missed a bearing race for the balls to ride on in the forks. i might be repainting a diffrent color for my daughtor so i will have to look again but i still dont know why there are diffrent part numbers?

    are the fork stops cut off? its under the steering neck,,, a little welded tab ... all 70 tanks are interchangable,,, here is a pict of one,, as you can see they bend pretty easy,,,,
