    Question '86 ATC 200X , Rear Sprocket alignment / Chain - How To ? ? ?

    Here's we have a - 1986 ATC 200x ,

    Just installed NEW - Brand- KMC ( Blue O-Ring Chain ) & Front Sprocket

    I notice the rear end sprocket & chain is not align, it's off a bit.

    How Do i Align ? ? ? ( detail Please )

    Align?? If the motor is stock, and the swingarm/carrier are stock - then the center lines are dead nuts. Bad swingarm pivot bearings or bad carrier bearings (aside from mismatched parts) can cause a misalignment of the chain from front to rear sprocket.

    EDIT - does the new sprocket have a flat side and a raised side?? Is the rear sprocket hub OEM?? Throwin stuff out there......
