So I decided to build on my '83 185s. I never did much engine work but so far so good. Here's what I've done:
-K and N air filter
-Carb rebuild kit
-Jardine Stalker exhaust (real deep sound)
-New Vesrah valves
-Replaced stock jug with an xr185 jug bored out to fit a 67mm Wiseco 10.25:1 compression piston
-replaced pull starter rope with a cable
Those are the upgrades i've done and just today got it to fire up for about 5 seconds, woooh! My tank has rust so i need to take care of that before it's ready to go. i'll get some pics up eventually. tell me what you think
