ATC 250R 1985 rear bearing carrier

i just receive my new rear bearing carrier for my 85 ATC 250R restoration project. I have buy an aftermarket bearing carrier on EBAY (Double row bearing with aluminum carrier H-2) but it seem that this kind of carrier don't have the groove for the bearing holder O-RING....is it normal...i don't need to put this kind of O-RING with an aftermarket carrier?
someone can help me with this?
    thanks

I have all aftermarket ones, none have grooves for o-rings. You'll be fine, just put some anti-seize on the carrier before you put it in the swingarm and if you ride in some nasty stuff, give it a turn after you wash it.
