ok, so when metallica came out with death magnetic, i wasn't too amazed, it was leaps and bounds over st. anger and load, but it just wasn't anything like master of puppets, ride the lightning or kill em all (to name a few of my favorites). now ac/dc came out with black ice, and i haven't listened to ac/dc in a couple years, but this album is amazing, straight to their roots, yet its new, and not just a rehash of all their other songs, although the names of the songs aren't very creative (the word 'rock' and 'n' is in 4 of the songs on the album). now im no audiophile, and i was not alive when these bands were at their prime, but i am a metal headand ac/dc got it right with this new album, proving old bands can still kickass![]()

what are some of your favorite older bands (even not so old) and what do you think of some of their newer albums vs. the old (id like to hear what a few slipknot fans think of all hope is gone)

. I like all truly good music but metal and blues are my favorites.

There's nothing like the sound of screaming 2strokes and the smell of race gas in the air
