Which one ? Kawasaki Mojave 250 or Yamaha Warrior 350

I foudn 2 very nice ATvs for the around the same price.. One is a 2000 Kawaski Mojave and the other is a 1997 Yamaha Warrior.. Both run grat and have no issues. Which is the better ATv to buy for trail riding?

Depends on your size. The Mojave handles better but is also a bit on the small side. Both make great trail machines.

I've never liked the warrior and never had one , I had a mojave for awhile and think it is a good little trail bike.

I prefer the Warrior, the mojave is smaller and slower. Sure it's a little bit heavier but you can still pull wheelies and jump and throw it around all day. Plus sometimes when you down shift ya tend to hit reverse. atleast i did quite a few times. Just my 2 cents.

im a kawi freak, i have to say go for the mojave. as mentioned the warriors were way over weight. sure you can jump them, and throw them around, but they are heavy quads. my blaster has eaten warriors for lunch on numerous occasions. the mojave is a great all around trailbike. first fourstroke liquid cooled four wheeler!!!

hey z400guy28, where bouts in albany are you? im only up in saratoga, we should hook up and ride sometime.

I actually live in Rensselaer now. we should definitely go riding together. We have some sweet trails around here, and plenty of big gravel pits that we rip on almost every weekend. Never been riding up that way, how is it?

If you are 10 years old or under get the Mojave. If you are 11 or older then get the Warrior.
Mojaves are TINY! I think they are around the size of an ATC110. There is a Mojave and an ATC110 at my dads and I seriously think they are the same size.
What price range are you talking? I picked up my 400EX for $1500 and see them for that price all the time. A friend of mine paid $1450 for his. A 400EX is leaps and bounds ahead of a Warrior or Mojave.
I think the 400s are seriously under-rated. Basically a 250R with an XR400 motor which is quite updated compared to a 350X.

i agree...those are not very good choises

mojave parts are hard to find and they are tiny....250x size

the warrior is a pig and parts are hard to find

when i say parts i mean cheap used parts....i have no idea whats still avaliable at the dealers.

if i had a gun to my head and HAD to get ether of those i would get the warrior.....but i would die a little inside

Parts for the warrior are not hard to find at all. The bike has been around since 1987 and before the Raptor came out it was yamaha's #1 trail bike. They have lots of stuff available aftermarket too. If your a normal size adult I would choose it over Mojave.
