1986 Honda Fourtrax 350 4x4 won't start.

The bike won't start anymore.

I've kicked it over and kicked it over to no avail. I pulled the plug and checked and it has spark though. Been tracing wires back but found none broken or cracked.

If the stator coil wen't out would I still get any spark?

Plug was a lil wet - yes.

Air Filter looks great.

I was told my stator coil may be gone out - could this even be possible seeing as I have spark?

Got the bike to start!! Wow!

Traced back through wires, disconnecting and reconecting every one - got spark, ran fresh gas in her - kicked 10 tens - she STARTED.

This is gunna sound crazy but - the bike actually stopped working over two years ago!! I was told by a local bike expert who checked her out the stator was dead. I just let her sit all this time. Today I got frustrated looking at her and decided to just have a better look, another attempt if you will. Well man - I feel so dumb letting her sit all that time now!!
