Please help to identify this trike ?

Hi all, i am in NZ and have just bought this Yamaha 3 Wheeler. Was advertised as a 1990 250cc but im not sure if that is correct.

Could anyone please help to tell me what they think this is and even steer me in the right direction to downlaod a manual either owners or workshop for it ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated .... Cheers all . ;-)

It looks more like a 200E to me. Seems like there's two holes in the fenders behind the seat....where the rear rack attached, as well as the stock 200E trailer hitch. Doesn't look rear suspended like a 225 to me either. I could be wrong since it's hard to judge from the angle of the pic.

If it has a reverse lever on the left side of the motor, it's an '85. If not, it's earlier.

if by 200e you guys mean a honda 200 big red i can tell you for SURE it is not a 200e, hence the yellow plastic and the yamaha on the back of the seat, the only yellow honda's were the early 70's atc 90's.

YTM 200E ( for 1985 add ERN suffix) Nickname: Yamahauler....or Big Yellow

If it's shaft drive and hardtail, that's exactly what you have.
