it's just a shame that deep down the chassis is basically a blaster.

It looks like it would be a blast. Too bad they didn't get serious and put a REAL 250 in it.

well every quad has its simalairities (geez I cant spell) but they also had a blaster on the floor, the frame on the 250 is narrower and a arms longer compared to the blaster, also has a longer swinger compared to the blaster... I dont know what you would expect from a factory? aluminum frame liquid cooling fuel injection... its just a 250 starter quad... I love the blasters to death.. but this thing really is better... plus the engine isnt some 30 year old pile like the warrior engine.. its out of that tricker bike and if you look it up its a bad ass bike. If you made it all tricked out then it would cost as much as a 450 or more, right now they have one on the floor for 2500 wich is a steal!

So now they have a Raptor 250 and 350? Why are both needed? Is the 250 better? Yes I know the 350 is really a Warrior.

well the 250 took the place of the blaster... the 350 is what you said just a nicer looking warrior... I beleive they did change the chassis on the 350 a bit. I looked at the 350 and it seemed a bit differnt then the warrior at my house.

I 250 I think is great, I plan on trying to get one for my daughter next year.. I think she will be better off with it over the blaster... the blaster is either extremely tame or super pipey so I think the little rap will be good for her.

i do like the fact that they finaly got rid of that old sliding carrier on the 250 and went with a ''normal'' eccentric carrier.

    much better and stronger

the only downfall to the raptor 250 is its size.. im a big guy (duh) and even the blaster dosnt feel crampted but I cant even sit on the rap 250! its not like the honda 250 or the suki 250 in size I can still sit on those fine..

I love the new 250. It's so little you can toss it around at will. How old is your daughter? If under 10 or so I would say it might be a handful for her. I think this 250 is comparable to the 300ex as far as power goes.

Yeah, why does everyone expect all bikes to be maxed out race quads, theres a bike for each person and this bike is for newer riders just getting started, i wouldnt want to drive one at all far from interests me but someone just starting or a little smaller probably be a different story, however i believe liquid cooling and disc breaks should be on all bikes cant cheap on the breaks and the liquid cooling is just to make sure you dont blow a motor, rather pay a bit more for liquid cooling myself.

Plus its a rumor going around suzuki might put a 'real' 250 motor in a bike like this very soon.

wow, that looks almost like a mini....should be a good step up quad for younger riders though

RIDE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT! AND NEVER LOOK BACK, THEY ARE TOO FAR BEHIND TO SEE!!

Id rather have a sister in a WHORE HOUSE than a brother in a FORD!
