depends if you want the e brake cable on the 87 like it comes stock. the 84 and 85 rear calipers are different in size. the 84 being smaller then the 85. if you dont want the e brake cable then the 85 model should fit. i know it fits my 86 so i would believe the 87 model is no different where it bolts up. the 87 model is the only year the t3 came with an e brake cable.

    84 kxt-A1 rear disc part number: 41080-4001
    85 kxt-A2 rear disc part number: 41080-4001
86 kxt-B1 front and rear disc part number: 41080-1162
    87 kxt-B2 rear disc part number: 41080-1180
    87 kxt-B2 front disc part number: 41080-1162

from the part diagram picture I see that the 84-85 are different than the 86-87

84-85 have offset that the 86 don't have.
Now is the 86 rear disc interchangeable with any newer kawasaki atv rear disc?

The 84-85 brakes have different hole spaces between them. to make them work would take some fabrication. I don't know if the front and rear caliper on the 86 are the same caliper are the same but I do have a caliper from the front of an 86 T3.

I was sitting on it for a rainy day. i can't promise if it needs rebuit or not and i hate to get rid of it but some many people have been good to me around here and i feel the obligation to spread that kindness and help you if you are interested. i'll make you a great deal on it.

Shipping from the US to Greece could get costly though.

Well, I have a caliper off the front of an 86 T3 if it will work for the rear of his trike. I'd send it to him for free if he wants to cover shipping. Unless I'm misunderstanding what he asking for.

Are you looking for the caliper or the disk itself? I have a caliper but not a disk.

Finding a front brake rotor (disc) should not be that hard. I have a couple.

How thin (lean) is the one you have?
