    Sled Guru's NEEDED!

    I have a motor that I need to order a head gasket for but I dont know what I have. Here is what I know.

    Rotax-Bombardier
    Type- 444
    3040810 (model or serial number)
    436.6cc
    Liquid cooled
    Twin cylinder


    Can anyone tell me what I have?

    What I do know is that it came off of a Ski-doo. I have no idea of the year or model though!

    My manual lists a 444 Rotax in a 78 & 79 Ski-doo Everest 444.

    cool thanks! all i have is the motor no sled it came on a gokart i baught but as we all know its kinda hard to order parts if you dont know what your ordering them for! Thanks for the info!

    Those everest did have the 444cc motor but they are F/C not liquid. I spent many hours working on one of those in the freezing cold and very little time riding it...

    78-79 by looking at numerous website's list 3 440 everest for 78-79 the 440, 440l/c, and the 440e
