Worthless? Only because so many brainwashed sheep are more than happy to play "Pretend Democracy" by voting for the two mainstream offerings that, though they may differ in severity, ARE BOTH BAD choices.

Everyone has a right to research and form their own opinions of what's good, what's bad, what's effective, what's a waste,.....I say that if my goal was the return of liberty, fiscal conservatism, and limited government, I didn't have an electable choice after Ron Paul failed to gain the nomination.

I've grown(violently) sick of this game....but nothing will change untill a lot of ya'll get sick enough of it to vote 3rd party.

I did not mean to be rude about saying worthless, and I agree with you completely. I just feel theres no chance in organizing enough people to vote for a 3rd party.

I might have voted for a third pary if they had a canidate. But as long as the media refuses to cover people that don't agree with them, we will never get support of a third party.

As a Brit I think the USA has made a mistake here, its plain to see that John McCain is a true patriot, Obama is a false, glory hunting left winger with zero experience 'in the field' and the obvious wrong choice for commander in chief given the current world security situation. However, I wish him well but I can't help thinking something BIG is going to happen in his presidency and it won't be good

It would have been tough for any Republican to follow after Bush.

No problem. My post was the one that probably came off rude. Didn't mean to come off that way, I'm just tired of worrying about politics so much.....and I hadn't had my coffee yet

You're correct in part the problem of another party fielding an electable candidate is organization. My point was that public perception plays heavily into the electability of a 3rd party candidate.

    Obama

Well.... I to am uncertain about the future. Though I know this is a 3 wheeler forum and has a sometimes thrill billy attitude, I am disappointed in the racial overtones from some of the members about this presidential issue. Obama has no significant ties to terrorism and is a self made successful man. He may not have the past experience I would like to see in a future president, but many a president before him have had little experience, but then went on to have a successful presidency. I bid him good luck in this struggling time to hopefully turn things around and make true historical progress. He truly is a CHANGE! -Andy Seibel

    Hmm.

    William Ayers, weather underground

    Louis Farrakahn, Nation Of Islam

    Kalid Rashidi, PLO spokesman

These known terrorists and sympathizers are HARDLY INSIGNIFICANT!

There is also the issue of who or whom paid for Obamas high priced educations. Since he wont release his records, its anyones guess. Could it have been an unsavory, anti-american group? Or could it be his grandma, a woman of modest means paying cash for Harvard Law and Columbia?

We can now see oil money banked Bush. We'll see who pushes Obama's buttons.
