    86 250R FINNALY assembled!

Well I got all of my parts back from the powder coater on Friday. Spent most of Friday cleaning and assembling it and now I finally have it finished. Im just going to leave the old skid plates off for now. Il get some new aluminum ones this spring. Next to come is a new pipe and 39 pwk.

Thanks! I still have some things Id like to do as far as cosmetics goes. For sure Im gonna get a front number plate and hopefully a red seat cover. I think that would really set it off and give it a good look. The search for a pipe is still on, not sure on what to do and what to really look for.

Lookin good! Get a CT pipe made or get an ESR, two of the best new pipes you can get. How do you like that Kenda Front Max? Way better than the Dunlop in my opinion.

congrats on getting it done great feeling right. Looks good, I'd put the stock skids back on though it only takes a few mins. No sense getting unnecesary dings and scuffs on your fresh swinger. Unless you wont be riding it much.

What is the major differnce in characteristics between the two pipes? So far Im liking the tire a lot. I was just going to get the oem tire to start with but it wasnt parts unlimited didnt have one in stock.

As for the skid plates, I dont plan on using it for anything but ice racing this year so Il just wait on them for now.

I was kinda wondering how good it would look with the red swing arm, but wow I really like it. I think it turned out great. Not sure if I will polish the fork lowers when I rebuild them or P/C them black. I do know that with a good looking chrome pipe that polished fork tubes look shaweet!

Any one have an idea of what jetting would be recommended for a 39 pwk?

I just did my powder as well and went with the red swinger. Really looks good. I have my old FMF pipe if you are interested in it. It is kinda rusted and a few dings. Not sure what you are looking for. Probably a nice shiny new one. PM if you want it.
