    83 250r with 38mm keihin carb. help

i have been looking around and have been told that the 38mm is the way to go on the air cooled r's. is this correct? if so does anyone know if the factory 83 intake boot will still work or if i need to be looking for that also? and does the airbox boot work also? thanks guys and if anyone has one they dont need anymore im open for donations haha.

If it is a stock engine anything bigger the a 36mm carb won't do you much good. You will have a very hard time getting a 36 into your stock boot. The same with the intake tube that goes between the carb and airbox.

    "Can't", never could do nothing

There's nothing like the sound of screaming 2strokes and the smell of race gas in the air
