Mt 250's are more or less the dual sport equivalent of a cr motocrosser. They are not that fast (though they could kinda run with bikes of the day). Nothing to crow about, but they run and are kinda reliable. I have one, and some pics of it but i need to find them.

Looks more or less the same as mine with some differences... (i would get new pics but its buried in my garage at the moment)..

I dont have a gastank or ignition, so it doesnt run right now. Also needs various parts. I might be interested in selling it, so one of you guys are welcome to give me an offer. The bike seems like its mostly there engine wise, but i have not gotten too far into it. The bike would be perfect for parts. Its a 73 model by the way. The bike could be restored, but it would be much more suitable for parts.

The most unique aspect of the bike is that the rearend is completely aftermarket. Haro swingarm, and early (works?) shocks with remote ressys.

Think that rear suspension would work on a 76??

I would assume so. Far as I know the mt250 was not changed much at all.
