    Gas tank treat/ seal

I have a 85 200X that i am wanting to seal the tank on the inside.............. what do you guys/ gals recommend to use.
The tank does not leak and has minimal rust... I am wanting to repaint it and I thought I would clean/ seal the inside first!
    Thanks tim:

Personally I would not mess with a tank in the condition you are describing. I think it is more durable if you do not mess with it.

Tim I just recently sealed the tank on the 83 185s that my buddy gave me and it has worked flawlessly!

First I took the tank to the car wash and took the highpressure to the inside of it to blow any loose scale free!

Then I coated the inside of the tank with a product called red-kote that my buddies automotive parts store sells, following the instructions on the can and it was work awesome!
Trying to bring a neglected 185s back to life!

Thanks for your input! I just feel more comfortable sealing first before painting it!
    Thanks tim
