I'm trading him a blaster that I got cheap and got running. That way his kid still has something to ride. It's a better deal for him because his kid still has something to ride at the end of the day. It's a better deal for me because of how I got the blaster.

I can't wait to see what it looks like in person. Craigslist pictures always suck.

We all have to give green a chance! I'll say this though - Fabiodrivens Tecate is one dam fast trike! Smoked all the R's and Z's from what I saw!!

So, here's the story. The guy emailed me shortly after this post and said he blew it up. He said he started it and it ran ok then started making a horrible metallic noise and misfiring and stuff like that. He said he thought his kid had mixed the gas wrong.

We already had a deal when this happened. It was just waiting for the weekend so I could come get it. To me it didn't sound like he blew it up so I had him do a compression test. It came out fine. I decided to take a chance and get it assuming it was probably the old "magnet fell off the rotor" thing and I could get it running for relatively cheap.

So I went to Michigan, made the deal, and brought home the injured trike not knowing what the real problem was. I looked at the Ricky Stator flywheel and thought for the price I'd better be certain that was the problem before I spent the money. I took the bike to my buddy's shop and pulled the flywheel cover and the flywheel about fell off in my hand. The flywheel bolt had backed out and when the flywheel came loose it sheared th woodruff key.

So $0.36 later, here's my T3 that runs like a top:

The fenders and tank are only shiny because they've been spray painted. It's a beater, for sure, but when you sort out all the horse trading that went into the deal (old firearms for BigRed, Big Red for Blaster, Blaster for T3 with cash back because it didn't run), I got paid to take it.
