    Thanks guys for all the good sites and info. I've seen the caswell plating kits before, but really haven't gotten the bug to do it til now. You all are a great inspiration! This thread should be renamed "Anodizing 101" Thanks again! -Andy

    I always wondered how that was done.
    Now I know,and I could probably do it myself.

    Funny thing is,I had one moron on another forum arguing you couldnt "Strip" Anodizing from a factory piece.
    I did it with my front rim, using the lye solution just like that guy said to.
    He(the moron) then proceeded to argue with me,that the rim was painted and I just showed a way to strip paint,not anodizing..Whatever... worked for me.HAHA
    Here is where my long useless list of stuff nobody cares about should go...

    Very true Mosh. Eastwood sells an anodize stripper as well. Can be done efficently with lye.
