    Can't get 125m jetted right

I have an 84 atc125m that I have been restoring for the last year but still can't get it jetted right.

Here is some info on the bike.

Is it freshly bored .50 over, I removed the snorkle and put in a foam aftermarket filter (moose maybe?) a DG pipe and a brand new original carburator. Ever since I put it together (I got it in pieces) it doesn't run right at full throttle. Recently I got the choke cable for it and find that if I get the choke pulled to a certain point it will almost run perfect.

With the choke off it refuses to rev out past 3/4 throttle (cuts out) and backfires. I have tried every main jet from 88 (stock is 92) to 102 with no success. I have changed the cdi, the plugs and the coil and it was not help.

Plug chops show that it is running lean, but the biggest jet I have for this bike is 102 and it didn't help. I think the biggest jet made is 105 but I don't think it will make a difference. It seems to run best with the 98 main but the plug still shows it is lean.

Does anyone one know what it could be or where I could get bigger jets at a resonable price ($7.50 from honda).

I don't think that the mods I did should lean it out that much.

    Thanks

well it looks like ti might be something else than jetting. Is it getting enough gas into the carburetor?

Nope, it's a brand new carb and the floats are not abjustable(plastic one piece design).

the pick up on the cam has advance weights on it. they need to be clean and rust free so they can advance your ignition to fire the plug. make sure your springs are in good shape also. hope that helps
