ever watch "I love the '80's" on VH1?? If not, I highly reccomend you tune in. Really brings back the memories. I wish I could go back, no kids, wife, job, NEW trikes, cool cars, great tunes, jordace clad big haired hotties, oh those were the days.

It was more of a time where worries were little because we were teenagers . People look back at it and laugh . New wave ? whats that ? Why does that girl have leg warmers over her jeans ?? And there were the hairbands . I was in several myself and when I look through old photos it makes me laugh . That was the style then . It seems to have shifted to this hardcore rap gang-bangin' thug wearin my pants so low my arse hangs out and pimpin' my hat crooked crap . Dont get me wrong , I used to wear baggy clothes . They were called hand-me-downs. Id take the 80s over the new fad any day . Ace

I'm not old enough to really remember the 80's but i still watch "I love the 80's" on VH1 frequently (Some of my favorite bands were at thier top during that time) Don't they even kind of have an old 3-wheeler in the logo/opening screen for that show? (in pink tint)

Ya they do have an old trike.And amen to you ACE.Im only 15 and i cant stand the way it is i mean if take an 80s band and you see a drummer a singer couple guitarists OK take todays band an you got a bunch of mamas boys with close do big.Its like not having a band

I'm not 30 year, scaring the heck out of it, but I hear ya holic...I have been watchin vh1 classics, it's a whole seperate channel, and they might as well call it vh1 80's most of the time. Last night they had the video to Is This Love, by Whitesnake...MMMM Tawny Kitaen, now there was a top of the line 80's chick LOL.

Besides that little icon that looks more like a 3-wheeled mini bike to me, there is one of the earlier episodes (82 or 83) that is talking about the original MTV VJs. One VJ, I can't remember his name now to save my life, He's a clean cut looking white guy and is shown riding some sort of hard-tail Honda ATC down a beach. It's a very brief scene and of course, no helmet! :-D

I keep threatening to add the VH1 classics channel. But we watch too much TV as it is. waterpumper, I wonder what the WhiteSnake chick looks like today....
