Well, he tried to get it going, but he couldn't and took it to a 2 stroke mechanic? The mechanic told him the coil was damaged. But it has a good spark???? Sounds like BS to me. The story doesn't add up.

Well T3s are known to have stator problems. It could possibly still have spark but it could be inconsistent or weak. Still, it's kinda tacky to try to sell a non running machine for that price. It would be in his best interest to get it running, then sell it.
