    tecate guys, ever seen a unitrack link like this?

    this link looks nothing like the other tecate I have, or the '86 KX250 link.



    is it aftermarket?

    I have one like it on my 1984, although mine is in much worse shape. I have also noticed one on Ebay not long back for auction.

    I have heard that the 2nd gen Tecate actually came with an adjustable strut. I don't know if that is true however, as I have only owned 84-85 Tecates. The turnbuckle on my strut was once anodized.

    90s......89 Suzuki quad racer 250 (raced 250 A class for 6 years, late 90s.. custom framed 250x with long travel shocks and a built 350x motor.... built Honda 110
    00s...... chomeoly framed 350 RX with all the goodies (thanks to my bro)
    2012.....Replaced the 350x motor for a 444cc YZ426

    That adjustable link is Factory OEM. it came standard on the 2nd Generation 86/87 B2 series.

    The 86-87 Tecates did come with an adjustable strut. This one, however, is not factory Kawasaki. I've never seen one like this so I can only take these guys word that it's Durablue. It is not Kawi, though.

    Sweet piece BTW, Hondawasaki. (Let me know if you get tired of it!)

    Yeah they have adjustable struts, but they look like this.......

    Really, so it isn't a durablue? The bike has a JP airbox lid as well so it makes sence. Thanks!

    durablue still makes that exact stut to this day
