I think i have this right, but for the adjustments on the carb I was told 1- 1/8-1-3/4 for the mixture screw and 1/4 for the idle adjustment. Are those correct? Now the idle adjust is the screw the goes in right by the slide right? And the mixture screw is the screw to the bottom right corner of the carb, right?

yep, and yep, the mixture screw should be loose, and not tightend in.... a lot of people get the mixture screw and the plug screw mixed up....
