    how many discs should i use in my Supertrapp

    Just got myself a supertrapp pipe for my 200 auto x and was wondering how many discs i should run on the end can? what effects does it have apart from noise

    Top end over rev the more discs in place and yes louder. Less stuffs the motor a bit and provides a bit of bottom end...Play with it and the jetting to get the sound and proformance you like. It's a nice system have fun with it try the middle of the road and work your way around

    Tri Z is right it depends on your gas and air ratio. I run 14 plates on mine and I run a 155 main jet in a stock sx carb with an open air box w/K&N.

    I have 8 on my X. It runs well and I am thinking of finding some more when I rebuild sometime.
    84 200x
    250r rear rims, Super trapp .

    84 Big Red
    Cobra exhaust, Uni air filter.

    I'm 4 wheels? son.

    Seeing as it was running rich before i changed the pipe, i'll start with all of them and see how she runs and go from there. Now i just gotta get out on it

    Although this is for the 350x. It will give you a good understanding on how to tune in your 200x.

    thats perfect for me im working with a 350x thats awsome great info.im saving the pics just need more of the dang discs i have four would like to have more to see how they do .

    Not really related, but back in '94 I put a set on a turbo buick I had. The car never would run right, it would hardly spool up because of so much back pressure even with all the discs in. I took them off, put on an ATR system and whoa! what a difference. So it just makes me wonder how good the supertraps really are, even for our trikes?
