another 250sx ?

K, so i hooked up a makeshift airbox and tubes and hooked up that airfilter and it wouldnt stay running... it loaded up and smoked. so i took the filter off and it runs allright now. It still seems to smoke a bit but not bad, just at high rpms. However it starts to idle high once it warms up... When its cold it and snow all over it, it will start 1st kick but after its warm i got to pull the choke up to get the RPM's down just to put it in gear so i dont SNAP it in gear..

I cleaned the carb out and i know this is a carb question just not sure exactly where to go... thanks

seems theres a bunch of people on the site that are in Central N.Y.

On another note theres a dog possibly coming your way from brewerton area. hes been gone since the 5th and is trying to follow the river home but could take a wrong turn and follow thee wrong river. Keep an eye out and spread the word plz. If you could post some pics up in the area at stores and stuff I would appreciate it. There is a good reward also. thx

my guess is that your idle is adjusted to high, my sx idles higher once it get's warmed up all the way too. just wait for it to get warm and then adjust the idle down as necessary. also you might want to make sure your throttle cable is adjusted correctly, if it's to tight it will idle high as well. as far as the airbow issue it sounds rich, if your main jet is still stock size my guess would be that the pilot screw is out of adjustment. hope it helps.

OOh man my girlfriends sister found a begal and shes in Central square area so i got real excited hopeing we found the owner but unfortunetly she said that its not a match, so sorry. But ill keep a look out hopefully your dog will turn up...
