    Oil leak from CDI cover?

First off, about a couple months ago i noticed that the top of the motor under the CDI cover was a little moist and when I checked there was apiece of the gasket missing. No prob, ordered new gaskets and replaced. I hadn't driven it until this evening when I started both the machines up to run them a bit in this cold weather and after my romp in the backyard I happened to notice dripping from the CDI cover. it's a brand new gasket so is it possible that the o rings or something inside are worn out? I can really use someone's help.

    Thanks,

    Jeff

If this is on the bike in your sig, then yes, there is an oil seal in the very back. It takes all of about 30 seconds to take all that timing advance stuff off, and 2 8mm bolts on the side take the plate off, where the oil seal is. Im not sure if you can still get these from a Honda dealer or not still (you should be able to), but if not you can get a full oil seal set aftermarket.

Edit: There is also a large o-ring on the back of the same cover the seal is in, which might also be the cause of the leak.
