I bored my 83 200x out to 66mm and put a wiseco piston in reseated the valves and did some porting last winter. I went from a 110 main jet to a 128 to a 132 and it ran great until the weather got hot then I was having a bit of hesitation or a sputter in carb going from wide open letting off and getting back on again. Does any one have an idea of the perfect size jet?

That's probably gonna be your pilot jet, try richening up the pilot mixture screw before going up a size.

Thanks for writing back Ill give that a try. I might be able to put the 110 jet back in again. I also thaught of putting a dial-a- jet on like my 350 has. I was impressed w that.

Yeah man, I love those dial-a-jets. The R with be getting one very shortly, my old Z loved it.

After seeing the great response through out the whole power range on my 350x I am a bit nervous when it comes to putting one on my R lol.
